With health, we have hope. And with hope, anything is possible, which is why at The Cola-Cola Africa Foundation our Africa health programs are an integral part of bettering our continent – more specifically, the prevention of malaria and HIV/AIDS.

Since 2007, we have invested more than $7 million to implement health initiatives in 19 countries across Africa. With the help of various partner organizations, good health is within reach. And hope is right behind it.

 

Through the NetsForLife® partnership, The Cola-Cola Africa Foundation provides long lasting insecticide-treated bed nets to communities in malaria infested areas.The program also educates communities in malaria prevention. Between 2006 and 2010, 6.3 million nets were distributed by the partnership. This has helped to save the lives of more than 86,000 people, mostly children under the age of five.

 

The Cola-Cola Africa Foundation’s partnership, aims to support over 146,000 HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children across eight countries in Africa. The Africa Network for Children Orphaned and at Risk (ANCHOR) is a regional partnership of four organizations: HOPE worldwide (HOPE), Rotarians For Fighting AIDS (RFFA), The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation and the Schools of Public Health and Nursing at Emory University (Emory). So far more than 123,000 orphans and vulnerable children have been helped by the Foundation's HIV/AIDS program.
